These roles vastly deal with the responsibilities regarding the management and marketing affairs of sports. As a manager/agent oversee the athlete’s career including the handling of their contract negotiation and securing endorsement deals. Finally, a brand strategist rather focuses on the development and implementation of brands within the organizations. 

Operations and Management

This spectrum mainly involves roles such as Sports Event Coordinator, Sports Facility Manager, E-Sports Operations Manager, and Sports Talent Acquisition Manager. First, the role of event coordinator deals with the responsibility of planning and executing sports events involving logistics, scheduling, and budgets. A facility manager manages the day-to-day operations of sports facilities while an e-sports operational manager handles the day-to-day operations of e-sports teams. Lastly, the talent acquisition manager is responsible for recruiting and hitting top talents for teams and organizations.

This mainly includes the role of Sports data analysts who analyze data to obtain insights on players’ performance, fan engagement, and team strategy. In today’s digital age, Sports social media managers and Esports marketing managers have high roles in demand. The social media manager works on the engagement on the internet for sports teams, events, and leagues by creating engaging and interactive content for viewers. While, the E-Sports marketing manager develops strategies for e-sports teams, leagues, and events. In addition, this may also include sports journalists who report news, events, and trends for various media outlets.
