Brand Activations in the 2024 IPL season?
At DNA Networks the 2024 IPL season has been a labor of love. The entity worked with five incredible teams to transform their stadium experience. They had over a thousand workers come together held by a core team of 150 experts on the ground making everything run smoothly, from lighting up the team’s rooms to doing some incredible branding on the team buses or from setting up jaw-dropping hospitality boxes to cranking up the match entertainment. This is all done to enrich the fan experience, as they say the show must go on with all its excitement.
IPL is a creative competition, it instigates every team to innovate so that the fan and player engagement is top-notch. Earlier, there was a very thin scope of creativity where only a few spots in the stadium would be designed but now everything from the parking, to the stands, and the gates is designed with the team logos and colors. Apart from this the addition of multiple high definition screens across the stadium is a major change. The big screens enhance the stadium experience by constantly displaying the highlights, umpire reviews, statistics, replays and lastly the player introduction.
Along with the visual element, the audio part is equally important in the IPL. Cathy themes like ‘Come on bulava aaya hai’, ‘India ka tyohar’, to the most widespread ‘Jumping zapak’ garners a massive cheer and the fans really get attached to it. Plus, the cinematic entries for famous players in the grand opening and closing ceremonies are the new trend that has emerged.
