Gear up, racing enthusiasts, as the Spanish Grand Prix is almost upon us. This year, the heart-pounding racing action will take place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Keep a close eye on every participant as the battle for the 2024 championship intensifies.
Ranking reshuffle on the cards
Heading into the race, Max Verstappen leads the ranking with a healthy 56-point lead on his Ferrari counterpart Charles Leclerc. In third, Norris stands his ground with 131 points, breathing down the neck of Leclerc, while being chased by another Ferrari driver in the form of Sainz, who has 108 points to his name.
The only question on everyone’s minds this weekend will be, can Leclerc close the gap, or will Verstappen maintain his grip on the championship?
Spanish Grand Prix: What is the date and where to watch it?
The Spanish Grand Prix will start on Friday, June 21st, with a first free practice session, followed by two more free practice sessions. However, the final race will take place on Sunday, June 23rd, at 06:30 p.m.
There might not be a televised broadcast of the event. Hence, Indian F1 fans can only watch the race on the Fan Code application.
Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya
The Barcelona circuit will not be a cakewalk for anyone. Affectionately known as the Montmeló, the track offers a unique blend of high-speed sections and tight corners. The long straights will allow the engines to roar and the tyres to test. However, the three high-speed yet technical corners will demand good control and driving skills.
